Thrombosis associated with HIF-PH inhibitor therapy has become a major concern. While elevated transferrin (Tf) levels were previously thought to be the cause, recent findings suggest that Tf may actually inhibit thrombus formation. I propose a new hypothesis based on my own theory.
ObjectiveEndovascular thrombectomy (EVT) is the standard treatment for acute ischemic stroke caused by large-vessel occlusion (AIS-LVO), but incomplete microvascular reperfusion often limits recovery. The 2026 American Heart Association/American Stroke Association guideline suggests that adjunctive intra-arterial thrombolysis (IAT) may be considered after successful EVT to target residual microth…

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a thrombotic microangiopathy resulting either from congenital deficiency (cTTP) or acquired (immune) deficiency (iTTP) of A Disintegrin and Metalloprotease with ThromboSpondin-type 1 motif, member 13 (ADAMTS13). Deficiency of ADAMTS13 leads to disseminated platelet thrombosis and organ dysfunction. High mortality of cTTP is prevented by plasma infusion…
