The Observatory and Planetarium of Brno is well known for their excellent programs for the public. Yesterday there was a large nanostructure where people could walk inside and learn new interesting knowledge, a large heliosphere with live comments of professional astronomers. The late evening was dedicated to the summer cinema – projecting if space-related films on the wall outside of the observa…

I found this beautiful photo of the red Moon. I do not know the author 😦
The sky was cloudy today, but it was nice warm outside. Summer is near!
Photos were taken with a smartphone attached to an eyepiece of the telescope with the lowest zoom. The rest of the observation was without taking the photos and with much greater zoom.
Photo above was taken with b/w filter. Following images display the Moon just before the sunset.
I had some time to to take a look on the Moon through my telescope. Although the weather was making some troubles (clouds), I managed to take some photos. Appenine mountain range at the top.
I absolutely like this image. It is planet Uranus in infrared view. Credit: KECK / Courtesy of Heidi B. Hammel and Imke de Pater
