Research Precise structural control is critical for nanoscale designers to harness the optical, electrical, magnetic, chemical and biological properties of nanomaterials and nanomedicines. Our research will focus on applying organic and polymer chemistry to construct bottom-up assemblies of metal ions, clusters and inorganic nanoparticles. We aim to develop systemic designs for functional group bearing templates to host inorganic matter, and thereby achieve different organic-inorganic composite.
