The objectives are to map the existing literature on the relationship between menopause, perimenopause and…

Health care providers in a legal cannabis state have encountered AEs and other complications related to cannabis use, and many are concerned about their frequency and severity. According to study participants, expanding access to clinical guidelines, validated tools, referral pathways, and specialized training may enhance their willingness and capacity to screen and intervene effectively.

Most participants favored integrated care, highlighting its convenience and continuity with a trusted provider. The findings indicated that nursing students have limited knowledge, moderate levels of stigma, and varied skill sets when caring for women with PSU and their infants. Nursing curricula should consider including broader coverage of PSU using various and effective educational strategies (ie, simulation; AI) which incorporate the lived experiences of women with PSU.

Accordingly, the Association for Multidisciplinary Education and Research in Substance Use and Addiction supports funding and research for the broader application of HRVMs, alongside the creation of national implementation guidance and federal and state policy alignment, to ensure that communities across the United States can access these crucial harm reduction services.

A mailed academic detailing intervention did not change NNS availability or BUP/NX stocking but did modestly increase willingness to order BUP/NX. This intervention is easily replicable and scalable, but modifications to increase the magnitude of its effect are needed.

Transitions from high-dose methadone to buprenorphine remain challenging, and the evidence base for high-dose buprenorphine initiation (HDBI) strategies in this context is limited. We reviewed the published literature on HDBI with a particular focus on their application for patients maintained on methadone and identified no prior reports of successful transition from methadone doses as high as 18…

Results indicate that changes to physical and social environment are key features of initiating and sustaining cannabis use cessation, which aligns with research on tobacco cessation. Future research should explore how these factors interact and investigate additional influences on long-term cessation success.

High-quality training curricula that cover a range of topics, particularly knowledge- and value-based topics, may enhance PSWs' sense of personal accomplishment. Improving content and quality over quantity may also reduce PSWs' job stress. These efforts can support positive work experiences and engagement among PSWs in the substance use disorder recovery field.
