Single-crystalline two-dimensional vinylene frameworks through topological conversion

Now, a Mannich-elimination strategy enables their synthesis via topological conversion of imine covalent organic frameworks. Preserving lattice order during the linkage transformation is key for achieving enhanced conjugation and robust electronic performance.
