Ruslan Nikolaev, assistant professor of computer science and engineering, has been awarded a U.S. National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award to design a new operating system that combines performance, security and simultaneous work execution, while also optimizing operating systems to support the next generation of computing.
