Biobank analysis reveals more than 88,000 genetic associations with metabolic traits

Nature, Published online: 27 May 2026; doi:10.1038/d41586-026-01571-z An investigation of the Estonian Biobank and the UK Biobank has identified more than 88,000 associations between more than 8,000 genomic regions and metabolic traits. The combined size of the sample enabled the detection of many more associations than in previous efforts.
