Most organisations put a ton of time and effort into bulking up their defences – firewalls, email gateways, web filters. These controls are important, but they're based on an assumption that the threat is coming from outside. But when a remote access trojan is secretly running away on a device inside your network and your perimeter security is largely irrelevant.
