AGI Earth Day Webinar Explores Solar Energy and the Minerals That Make It Possible

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The American Geosciences Institute (AGI) invites students, educators, geoscience professionals, and others to take part in its Earth Day Webinar, “Solar Energy and the Minerals Behind It,” during the premiere on YouTube Live at 1 p.m. ET, Monday, April 22, 2026. A recording of the webinar will be available on AGI’s YouTube channel for later viewing. Kicking off this year’s Earth Science Week celebration, the AGI Earth Day Webinar explores the 2026 Earth Day theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” and complements the 2025 Earth Science Week theme, “Energy Resources for Our Future.
