Rivista Italiana di Filosofia del Linguaggio 18 (2). 2024In this article, I will not only attempt to defend the Kantian position regarding existence from a series of recent criticisms from some analytic philosophers, but I will also try to demonstrate that, to effectively respond to such criticisms, one must resort to the analytic tradition itself and in particular, to the Fregean idea that existence is a quantifier.
