A website serves as an important gateway to an institution or organization, linking it with both existing and prospective clients. Therefore, it is essential to regularly evaluate and assess its usability. Failure to do so may lead to users losing interest and experiencing limited access to its content, as information might not reach the intended audience. A usability assessment focuses on determining how easy and satisfying it is for users to navigate and interact with the website. The study aimed to reflect on the library website usability report conducted by the Bureau of Marketing Research (BMR) at the Open Distance eLearning institution (ODeL) in 2018. This study was conducted to assess the improvements effected on the findings and recommendations of the website usability report. Since the library website provides access to a myriad of resources, it was necessary to undertake the study and provide insights into the challenges. The study examined the usability barriers encountered by participants, explored the methods used in conducting the website usability study, and determined the improvement plan emanating from the BMR report. Literature review was used as the research approach to address the objectives of the study. The findings articulated in the study amounted to the difficulty of navigating the library website, from the look and feel to the jargon used in the content. Recommendations for improvements were further provided.
