Trust in Doctors, Health Care System Distrust, and Cancer Screening Among Koreans

Background/Objectives: Despite the availability of the National Cancer Screening Program in Korea, participation rates remain suboptimal. The literature demonstrates that cancer screening participation extends beyond individual-level knowledge and attitudes and is largely associated with trust. This study examines the role of trust—across cancer screening tests, health care providers, and health care organizations—as a central determinant of cancer screening participation among Koreans. Methods:
