Michelle V. Joyce has been appointed vice president for institutional research, innovation and strategy at the University of Notre Dame, effective Aug. 10, after an extensive national search. Joyce, who currently serves as Notre Dame’s associate vice president of campaign administration, corporate and foundation relations, and academic advancement, succeeds David Bailey, who led the Office of Institutional Research, Innovation & Strategy (IRIS) from 2011 until his recent retirement.
