So, April flew by in about four days and I barely added enough books to make this post! Highly unusual I must say. But there are some really great new additions that I’m looking forward to reading soon. This month, I bring you books on math, plants, homes, evidence, space, education, and a little biography. Happy reading! By David Ariosto Published March 2026 from Knopf I saw this in the New York Book Review and it piqued my interest. The review suggested it was overly positive and not critical enough but I do like meta books on the space industry like Ashlee Vance’s When the Heavens Went on Sale (which I’d highly recommend). Published March 2026 from Viking Flower evolution? Honestly I needed nothing else to convince me to put this on my list. The evolution and role of flowers is incredible and I’m pumped to have a full length book to read on this topic. By Stefan Al Published April 2026 from W. W. Norton & Company I spend a lot of time at home so why not learn more about the concept. I like books that analyze banal concepts in interesting ways. Plus, it’s from one of my favorite non-fiction publishers, so I have high hopes. by Paul O. Carrese Publishing May 2026 from Cambridge University Press The author of this book was a speaker at Heterodox Academy’s West Coast Conference last week and mentioned his book, so it was an instant addition to my TBR and will be a nice compliment I think to The Cradle of Citizenship I recently read.

TBR List: Space, Math, Flowers, Kelp, and more.
