Erin Winick Anthony Founder, STEAM Power Media
Science communicator Erin Winick Anthony has made a career out of helping scientists and engineers better explain what they do, and telling stories about science for a living. Sometimes she does that by writing articles or making social media videos, other times it's by sailing on seafloor mapping expeditions and flying on parabolic flights. Erin will highlight science communication lessons from her career journey which spans from her mechanical engineering degree to NASA's International Space Station program to using acoustic systems to map the seafloor off of Howland and Baker Islands in the Pacific aboard E/V Nautilus. She'll focus on how she told the stories of acoustic technologies while at sea and provide tips on how you can showcase your STEM work with the world.
