Trans People Face More Violence Than Cisgender Sexual Minorities

Source: PsyPost Transgender people report higher rates of discrimination and violence across Europe compared to individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual. These disparities remain relatively consistent regardless of how progressive a country's national equality laws might be. The findings, based on responses from more than 138,000 individuals across 30 different countries, were published in the International Journal of Transgender Health.
