FROM QUARKS TO CHEMISTRY - A Geometric Derivation of QCD, Nuclear Structure, and the Bridge to Chemistry via Icosahedral Invariants

We present a geometric derivation of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) within theKoenig framework of dimensional flow and icosahedral invariants. The gauge groupSU(3) emerges from the three golden rectangles of the icosahedron, with 8 gluonsidentified as the complement of 12 fermions in the 20 icosahedral faces (20 = 8 + 12,exact). Confinement is reinterpreted as a dimensional-flow phenomenon: quarks confineprecisely at d_eff = 3.57, the halfway point between the observer dimension (d=3) andthe class
