Chromosome-level genome assembly of the Drosicha contrahens
Abstract Drosicha contrahens is an important forestry pest in China, primarily infesting fruit trees. In this study, we assembled a chromosome-level genome of D. contrahens using BGI short reads, PacBio Revio long reads, and Hi-C sequencing data. The assembled genome size is 681.68 Mb, with a scaffold N50 of 282.16 Mb. Of this, 677.81 Mb (99.43%) were successfully anchored onto 3 chromosomes.
