Lived experiences of Jordanian mothers of children with cancer: A descriptive qualitative study

BACKGROUND Caring for children with cancer deeply affects mothers’ daily lives, emotions, and family roles; however, to date, little has been learned about these experiences in the context of Jordan. AIM To examine the lived experiences of Jordanian mothers of children with cancer, with a focus on their coping mechanisms, support systems, and challenges. METHODS This descriptive qualitative study involved the use of semi-structured interviews with 20 mothers of children visiting a pediatric hosp
