The Board of Governors (BoG) of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) is the Society's highest governing and decision-making body. It is entrusted with defining ComSoc's strategic direction, policies, and overall management, and it holds the primary fiduciary responsibility for the Society. Acting on behalf of the global membership, the BoG establishes ComSoc's vision, mission, and long-term strategy, ensuring that all activities align with IEEE policies and governance principles.
