November round-up

I have not posted at all this month. I'm not quite sure why I have not been moved to do so, but it's that gloomy time of year as the clocks change, and it's the busy time of year when children's activities seem to ramp up towards Christmas. As usual, some of my kids are involved in the pantomime on ice at the local ice rink, and this year I have signed up as a volunteer chaperone, so I spent some time yesterday evening on the ice to be on hand if any of the children needed me (they didn't) and..
