This article examines the biblical foundations of the Marian title “Solace of Migrants,” added to the Litany of Loreto by Pope Francis in 2020. It highlights two key New Testament passages: the Holy Family’s journey to Bethlehem (Lk 2:1–7) and the Flight into Egypt (Mt 2:13–15). In these narratives, Mary, together with Joseph and Jesus, is portrayed as a migrant who experiences displacement, hardship, and uncertainty in a foreign land.
