This study examines sexist jokes in the workplace as a form of symbolic violence experienced by female workers in Indonesia, employing a qualitative descriptive approach grounded in Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of symbolic violence. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven female informants across diverse occupational sectors, complemented by document analysis of relevant sources.
