Autism researchers: one overlooked factor might increase children’s risk of the condition

An international team of researchers analysed data from 1,700 Danish children with autism and a large control group. They identified a surprising link between a previously overlooked factor before and during a woman’s pregnancy and the risk of autism in her child.
