4-Year DVM Program | Hands-On Veterinary Training at SGU

The SGU SVM curriculum provides a three-year foundation in pre-clinical sciences and clinical skills that prepare our students for their fourth-year of clinical rotations at our 32 affiliated colleges of veterinary medicine, and, thus, ultimately for Day-one readiness as clinical practitioners. There are 102 weeks of direct instruction and assessments in the first three years, and 48 weeks of hands-on clinical training involving core medical knowledge; including prevention, diagnosis, treatment.
