Despite the attempts of its makers claiming the opposite, the Political Compass is a form of entertainment not meant for serious thinking. It fails on two main counts: it does not give a satisfying answer on if it is possible to quantify and chart out one's politics and how and why the Political Compass is 'universally valid and timeless.'
