A new species of the extremely rarely collected genus Limnichopharus Miyatake, 1994, of the monotypic, ladybird beetle tribe Limnichopharini Miyatake, 1994 (subfamily Coccinellinae), Limnichopharus khaoyaiensis sp. nov., is described from Thailand, illustrated, and compared with the other congeneric species L. hainanensis Miyatake and L. borneensis Miyatake.
