Additional, abundant material of a recently described species of Mysida, Cubanomysis manuelortizi, previously known from a few individuals from the type locality in the SW Gulf of California and now collected in the SE Gulf of California, Mexico, is used to complete its description, particularly the morphology of thoracopods of both sexes.
