Fieldwork with aliens and beavers: AI-designed scenarios for assessing reflexivity in qualitative methods
Can AI-personalised fiction-based assessments help students engage with positionality, reflexivity, and empathy in a qualitative methods exam? Together with Claude Opus 4.7, I produced personalised assessment scenarios for a qualitative methods class and analysed ten written responses using reflexive thematic analysis.
