Abstract Background and Objectives: Friedreich ataxia (FA) causes progressive impairment of communication due to gradual deterioration of speech, associated with impaired hearing, socio-cognitive and language skills. There is an urgent need to investigate the impact of this multiparametric alteration on patients’ lives.
