A catalogue of Zygaenidae (Lepidoptera: Zygaenoidea) from India

A catalogue of the Indian species of the family Zygaenidae Latreille, 1809, is presented. The documented fauna consists of 153 species belonging to 58 genera from five subfamilies, viz. Inouelinae (one species), Zygaeninae (two species), Callizygaeninae (two species), Chalcosiinae (91 species), and Procridinae (57 species). The catalogue is based primarily on literature in which Indian zygaenid species have been described or mentioned. For each species the type locality, geographic distribution
