Five new bis(ZnDy) complexes with the general formula [Zn<sub>2</sub>(μ-H<sub>2</sub>L)<sub>2</sub>(μ-dicarb)Dy<sub>2</sub>(L')<sub>2</sub>(L'')<sub>2</sub>]X<sub>2</sub>·solv were synthesized using Mannich bis(compartmental) ligand H<sub>4</sub>L (highly phenoxido-containing macrocycle).
