Sudden Ionospheric Disturbances Generated by Solar Flares—Not so Sudden?
Abstract It is known that solar flares generate instantaneous ionization enhancement, referred to as sudden ionospheric disturbance (SID), that occurs simultaneously across the entire dayside.
