Abstract In this paper, for the electron beam weldments of TC11 and Ti-22Al-25Nb, the evolution of microstructures in fusion zone and heat affected zone as well as the changes in mechanical properties are investigated through isothermal forging deformation and subsequent heat treatment effects.
