Although play-based learning has received considerable attention in early childhood education research, studies that specifically address the development of integrative numeracy games to support children’s recognition of numbers 1–20 remain limited. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Edufun Number Race game in stimulating numeracy literacy among children aged 5–6 years. A quantitative approach was employed using a research and development (R&D) design with the 4D model, in
